movie mistakes
I think its pretty funny what some people figure out. How people sit and watch movies so many times that they see these things i couldn't understand. But never the less the web site is cool knowing that movies you saw have those mistakes. So now next time i watch those movies i will be looking for those things.

A Girl’s Nude Photo, and Altered Lives
I think that it is unfortunate with what happened to this girl. From a simple picture her life got out of control. The amount of kids that saw that picture would be hard. But i do think that the fact that this is middle school is crazy. The kids are so young and everything. Sexting in 8th grade is crazy. Also i didnt know middle schoolers could be arrested. I would think they would get susupended or something, but not arrested.

cool stuff about vid
I liked the fact the the mechanical workers had to do palates. The camera shots they used were not shocking ones but of ones of the workers doing work, then doing palates. They used car mats as their working put mats and it was an interesting story.

The story we had to watch was about a man and this goose who loves him. One day wile he was walking through the park this goose started fallowing him. Now she waits for everyday to come to the park. 3. She also made the case raciest because she blamed the car jacking on a "black man"
4. She was sentenced for life in prison but it says she will be eligible for parole in 2024

15 Stunningly Dumb Warning Labels
I read an article about the most dumb warning labels there are. these consisted of a warning to not put people in a dryer at high speeds, or shake hands with the chain end of a chainsaw. Even a can of peanuts that says "warning this product may contain nuts". I laugh at labels like this. Some companies will go to such lengths to protect their product that it just becomes to much. They put on all these ridiculous labels and it just gets annoying for the consumers.

Interview answers
Michael:
1. My strats wile playing black jack are following a broad range of different ones that tell me what to do according to what the dealer does.
2. The tables i like to play are the $5 dollar ones. Sometimes when i have more money to play with i will play the 10 or 15 dollar ones, and if i win a lot of money, just for fun i will go and play the $100 dollar high stake tables.
3. I believe that black jack is more skill based because if you know what you are doing your odds will become better than the house. If you play your hands right and be smart with your money you can almost always come out on top.
Person two...(max)
1. I have herd many rumors about casinos and counting cards. From what i have herd if you get cought then you will be beat up by the casinos bosses. I dont actually believe these rumors...at least not in minnesota they wont do that. They might is las though.
2. If i knew how to count cards i would do it all the time. I have herd it is easier than you would think. Even though you have to be able to think very fast when you do it, all you have to be able to do is add one and one together.
3. I usually go to the casino 2 or 3 times a month. I think its a lot of fun and i usually winn with black jack. All teens should go when they are 18 because it is great fun and you can win alot of money.
Person 3... (friends father)
1. I have been playing black jack since i was 18 and have loved it everytime. I win most of the time and go and get a pretty good flow of cash with it. Although lots of fun i dont think it is as addictive as people say.

Active or passive quiz
When i took this quiz i got 100%. I learned that to have an active action it need to be the person who is talking, talk about him doing it. For it to be passive the person talking about it has to be talking about someone else doing the action. I didn't really know what the difference was coming into the quiz, but now that I took it I know the difference.
Happiest in Hawaii: Aloha State Tops Well-Being List
I read about the happiest states in the US. Although sun and waves put Hawaii in the top ten, it doesn't for sure beat out snow and the northern light because Alaska was also in the top ten. The southern part of the US actually had the lowest 10 happiest states.
1. Hawaii: 71.0
2. Wyoming: 69.2
3. North Dakota: 68.4
4. Alaska: 68.3
5. Colorado: 68.0
6. Minnesota: 68.0
7. South Dakota: 68.0
8. Utah: 67.9
9. Connecticut: 67.9
10. Nebraska: 67.8
11. Massachusetts: 67.8
The bottom 10 states
1. West Virginia: 61.7
2. Kentucky: 61.9
3. Mississippi: 63.0
4. Arkansas: 63.7
5. Alabama: 63.7
6. Ohio: 63.8
7. Delaware: 64.2
8. Nevada: 64.2
9. Louisiana: 64.3
10. Michigan: 64.6
I think that this is pretty cool Minnesota is number 6 on the list. I can for sure see why Hawaii is number one but Alaska also being up there is nice. It just goes to show that people can be happy no matter where they live...except (Michigan)

Alien life claim ignites scientific debate
I read about these NASA researchers that claim to have found evidence of alien life. This is suppose to spark many heated debates and fight over whether its true or not within the next few days and weeks. The NASA scientist says he found bacteria like the ones on earth that "hitched a ride on a meteor"....I think that if this turns out to actually be alien life then it wold be pretty cool. Hopefully if we find more of them then they will be friendly and not try to kill us like in all the movies there are.

America's Third War: Texas Farmers Under Attack at the Border
I read about US farmers who are having troubles with illegal drug cartels coming from Mexico. A large amount of farmers land backs onto the boarder of Mexico and the US. Because of this the drug cartels try to sneak through those spots and they are very dangerous people. As a result the farmers are trying to defend their land and it gets into a nasty fight. I think that the government should really crack down onto the boarder. Once the illegals are threatening our people, that is a sign that this is a real problem.

Ruby
She was, at only 6 years old, the first girl to integrate the New Orleans school system. She attended William Frantz Elementary School. ruby was the only girl in class almost the whole year because the other parents wanted their kids out of the school. They hired Barbra Henry, from Boston, Massachusetts, to teach Bridges, and for over a year Mrs. Henry taught her alone.

Burnsville man indicted for January shooting death
A 46-year-old Burnsville man has been indicted on several charges stemming from a weekend shooting at a football game party in January. He was indicted feb 25 with chargers of second degree murder in connection with the Jan. 23 shooting death of James Edward Koenig. Thomas is currently in Dakota County Jail facing $500,000 bail without conditions or $400,000 bail with conditions. I think that if this is the right guy then it is a good thing he is in jail. We need to get these kinds of people out of our state. Although if it turns out he as innocent then they did a poor job with the case and that wouldn't be good for him.

Jonesboro shootings
The Jonesboro school massacre occurred on Tuesday, March 24, 1998, in Craighead County, Arkansas. Four student and one teacher were killed. Also 9 other students and one other teacher were wounded. The shooting was done by Mitchell Johnson, age 13, and Andrew Golden, age 11. They boys seemed like normal children outside of school, but during school students described the darker side of them. I think if i was to report about this story I would go for the 100% guilt factor. I would make people feel the pain that the families and students felt.

HTC Arrive Unveiled, Sprint's First Windows Phone 7
I read about the new windows phone they just made for sprint. This article got my attention because i have a sprint phone and would like a new one. This phone runs windows seven for its main programs. It is the first CDMA Windows Phone 7 device in the world. the screen can tilt up and sit like a tiny laptop, because that's what it is. This phone will go on sale March 20th for $199.99. I think that this is such a cool phone. It has more apps than the i-phone and it can run much faster. Although the cost is high it would be worth it for the technology you get.

Wisconson Power Play
According to this article Wisconsin is having some big problems. The person in charge over there keep s spending money that he doesn't have. That is never a good solution to the problem of debt. The article got started by a few remarks about Wisconsin being like Cairo. Although this may not be far from true it is an insult to the state a region. Wisconsin will have some difficulties coming out of their financial crises but I am confident that they will pull through in the end like they always do. I think that the government should try to spend less money to cut the deficit. also they should stay more out of the businesses around Wisconsin so they can fend for themselves in this financial crises. Finally i think they should do away with the unions because although it protects other it also keep s bad workers with jobs and it makes so wages stay higher which lead to more budget cuts throughout.

Publishing Quiz
My score was 18 out of 30. I don't really know how i got so high because i guess on just about every single one. I don't know very much about the press laws but i should probably learn them. I learned a couple of good facts about the laws though and i really feel enlightened because of it. I think the quiz is a good indicator of what our population knows about the laws in our society.

First Admen
I got 19 out of 30 on my test. Although i did think that some of the rules they had were not very good, they have been working thus far. I think i should study up a bit more on my amendments. This would be a good idea because they are the rules of where we live and we should know them.

Christina Aguilera Falls Onstage At Grammys
This is the new news about Christina Aguilera, who first flopped the super bowl on the most important song. Now he fell wile performing on stage at the Grammies. She was so good in the past years of her life, now she is trying to exaggerate the voice she has and it just sounds terrible. Some may say she should develop a drinking problem just for a reason to blame her fall on. Although she is doing very poor in her last few week she is still a very rich and famous person, so she will come out on top.

Como Park restoration set to begin in St. Paul
The Como zoo will soon have up to $200,000 to improve the zoo. They are going to start with volunteers removing invasive tree species. They have to change almost 18 acres of park land. Also they are building a new classroom to educate people about wildlife and nature. The project is being paid for by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund. Currently 40 percent of net state lottery proceeds are dedicated to building the fund to benefit Minnesota's environment and natural resources. I think that this is a great idea. The fact that the zoo is free is hard enough for the zoo to survive.
President targets $350M for Great Lakes cleanup
I read about the new thing Obama is trying to do for the nature of the united states. Obama is trying to put 350 million towards cleaning up the great lakes in the long run. It was originally for 475 million which was what Obama proposed in his first year of office but congress cut it down to 350. This would battle invasive species, step up removal of toxic sediments, restore wildlife habitat and take other steps to fix longstanding environmental problems in the Great Lakes. Even though I'm not a fan of Obama i think that cleaning up the great lakes is a great thing for the United States.

Ice fishing goes upscale in Mille Lacs, Minn.
I read about the new ice houses that people are using for ice fishing. The one that they did the report about had a full kitchen, bunk beds, fully heated, and a TV for entertainment. They have the holes drilled next to their beds and they put bells on the poles. They hang out with the poles in the water until the bell goes off then they real in the fish. They called it a normal house except for walleye come through the floor. They actually have a whole community on the ice. when the winter season comes around they implement garbage pick up and they have over 80 houses on the Ice. They plow the "roads" and have a whole community. I think that this would be a good way to ice fish. I my self have never liked it but if i was in a house like this i think i could get used to it.

Google Executive Hailed as a Hero by Protesters in Egypt
I read about a google executive who made a facebook page that the protesters in Egypt loved. The mane became so big that he was interviewed on multiple talk shows. Mr. Ghonim said he created a Facebook page for Khalid Said, the 28-year-old Egyptian man who died after allegedly being beaten by police. I think that this is a cool way to go against the machine in Egypt. The face that a single facebook page could do so much to a country is really amazing.

super bowl
I read about the rating that the super bowl commercials get. The top rated super bowl commercial was a tie with bud light and Doritos. The bud light commercial had dogs catering the party. Also the Doritos commercial had a dog that smashes through a window just to get what he wanted. The only down side was the attack of car commercials. There was a plethora of car commercials throughout the whole night. For every one normal commercial there was three car ones. It was long and annoying but they were still fun and entertaining to watch.

I read about baby cheese heads in Wisconson. Because the Packers are going to the super bowl, the new born babies in the hospital get mini cheese head hats to keep their heads warm. They are also getting little Packer clothing and blankets to sleep in. This is how a state should support their team.

Volcano in Japan
I read about the volcano in Kirishima Japan. In the latest few days the volcano has started to spew massive amounts of smoke. They are starting to put evacuation plans together in case the inevitable happens.
I personally think that if this happened where i lived it would be a real bummer. To have to leave your homes and all your things behind all over something you couldnt control would be one of the worst things to imagine. As of now they only have to put out small fires from the ash that is coming out but if the volcano blows it could be a real problem for Japan.
